Cleanings & checkups
The visit that keeps the other visits short. Twice a year, roughly an hour, and you go home with a clear picture of where your mouth stands.
- Cleaning & polishPlaque and hardened tartar removed from places a toothbrush cannot reach, above and below the gumline.
- Digital X-raysDigital imaging catches problems early, while treatment is still simple. Less radiation than older film X-rays, and the images are on the screen beside you.
- Oral cancer screeningA check of the soft tissue at every exam. Quick and painless, and if anything looks off, catching it at this stage means simpler treatment and better odds.
- Gum health trackingWe measure the depth of the space between your gums and teeth at every visit. When that space starts growing, it is the first sign of gum disease, and catching it here means a simple fix instead of a bigger one later.
- Deep cleaningA more thorough cleaning below the gumline for when gum disease has already set in, clearing plaque and tartar off the tooth root where the gum has receded away from it.
- Fluoride & sealantsExtra protection for teeth that are at higher risk of decay. We seal the grooves where decay usually starts.

Cosmetic dentistry
Changing how teeth look without wrecking how they work. We start conservative and only remove enamel when there's no better way to get you there.
- WhiteningProfessional-grade whitening lifts staining from coffee, tea, red wine and smoking. In-office for one-visit results, or custom trays to use at home.
- VeneersThin porcelain shells bonded to the front of the teeth to improve colour, shape and alignment.
- BondingTooth-coloured composite shaped onto chips, worn edges and small gaps, usually finished in a single visit.
- Gum contouringEvening out a gumline that sits high or uneven, so the teeth rather than the gums frame the smile.

Before anything is permanent, we'll show you a preview so you can react to it. If it isn't what you pictured, we change the plan, not your teeth.
Restorative work
Rebuilding teeth that are cracked, decayed or gone. The goal is always the same: get you chewing normally again and keep it that way.

Urgent care
Dental pain doesn't wait for an opening. Call in the morning and we'll do everything we can to see you the same day.
- Emergency appointmentsFast care for pain, fractures or swelling when you need it most. Call and describe what is happening and we will get you seen.
- Severe toothachePressure or throbbing that keeps you up at night. We find the cause, treat it, and stop the pain.
- Cracked or knocked-out teethA knocked-out tooth is time-sensitive. Call immediately, keep it moist, and do not scrub it.
- Swelling or abscessInfection in the face or jaw needs treating, not waiting out.
- Lost filling or crownRe-cemented or rebuilt so the tooth underneath is protected again.
Hold it by the crown, not the root. Keep it in milk or tucked in your cheek and call us immediately. The first hour matters more than anything else.

Surgery & extractions
Sometimes a tooth cannot be saved, or something needs to come out before anything else can be built. Handled here, with the focus on keeping you comfortable.
- ExtractionsSafe removal of damaged or infected teeth, with the focus on comfort during and clear instructions for after.
- Surgical extractionsFor teeth that are broken at the gumline, impacted, or will not come out simply.
- Oral surgeryAdvanced procedures performed with precision and care, planned from imaging before anything begins.
- AftercareWritten instructions, pain management, and a number to call if something does not feel right.
Extraction is the last option, not the quick one. If a tooth can be kept with a filling, a crown or a root canal, we will say so and give you the cost of both routes.
Your first appointment
Four steps, about an hour.
Bring your ID, insurance card and a list of any medications you take. That's it.
Paperwork
You fill out your health history and provide insurance up front, at the front desk or sent to you ahead of time so you can do it at home.
Images
Digital X-rays and photos. Less radiation than older film X-rays, quick to take, and they go straight to the screen next to your chair.

The plan
The treatment recommended at this visit, what can wait until a future visit, and what those future procedures would cost. In writing, before you leave.

Dr. Katchi opened MAP Dental as a practice she'd be proud to be a patient at herself: unhurried appointments, honest answers, and no pressure tactics.
She treats patients of every age and need, from first visits to full-mouth reconstruction, and participates in ongoing clinical training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry.

The money part, spelled out.
We're in network with most major PPO plans and file claims directly on your behalf. Call the office with your carrier and member ID and we'll verify your coverage before you come in, so nothing about your benefits is a guess on the day of treatment.
You can still be seen. We quote uninsured pricing before treatment starts, and we accept Cherry, which splits larger treatment into monthly payments. Ask the front desk what a specific procedure runs and you'll get a straight number.
We accept Cherry, which lets you pay for treatment over time in monthly instalments rather than all at once. Applying takes a few minutes at the front desk. For bigger cases like crowns, bridges or dentures we can also stage the treatment itself. Either way, you'll know the total, the monthly amount and the term before you sign anything.
Give us 24 hours' notice and there's no charge. Life happens, and we'd rather move your appointment than lose you as a patient. Short-notice cancellations just make it harder to give that slot to someone in pain.
